African Dance performance at Genesee Pottery

Friday, June 2014 (World Refugee Day). At the opening reception for “Global Perspectives” at the Firehouse Gallery at Genesee Pottery. attendees were treated to a special dance performance.

The name of the group is Mukezo Wabatoto (pronounced Moo-chez-oh wah-bah-toe-toe), meaning “The Children Dance”. This is a traditional Tanzanian/Burundi dance.
