This is Eva Crespin, Mercedez Holtry, and Gigi Bella from Albuquerque’s “ABQ Slam” Team’ performing in the 2016 Group Piece Finals at the National Poetry Slam. They went on to compete in two more rounds and became the Group Piece Champions of 2016, earning a cash prize, a trophy, lifetime membership in Poetry Slam, Inc., and bragging rights.
