“Marriage Begins With The Giving Of Words”-Stefani {+} Murray Michigan Farm Wedding
Ahhh, Sweet Stefanie and her soft spoken groom, Murray. I might be a little biased towards these two as they are a couple of friends of ours, but let me just say how awesome they are! We flew out to Michigan to capture this couples special day as they exchanged their vows on the family farm that has been in the Fishbeck Family for generations. Stefanie and Murray will soon be re-locating to Plymouth, Michigan where this family farm resides, to help with the daily operations. This farm, established in the early 1800’s, made for the most picturesque setting for their private ceremony. Stefanie and Murray said their “I Do’s” in front of the old Oak tree, that sits in front of Murray Lake and has been on the farm since the farm began. Family and close friends gathered around the couple as they pledged their forever’s. Stefanie wore a handmade gown, designed and stitched by the fabulous Teresa Romero of Teresa Romero Atelier. After slipping on the taffeta dress, she made her way to the tree side by way of her father’s escort in a golf cart. Both father and daughter play golf so that was a neat tie in to have. The day was beautiful and after some teary moments during the ceremony, the couple was ready to begin their lives hand in hand. We had a blast hanging out with these two a few days before, capturing the farms history and the childhood memories of Murray growing up on the family farm. I was hoping to run into a cow for them to milk, LOL, but alas, it was not that kind of farm. Still this sweet wedding is one we will always cherish as we saw our two friends unite as one! A few weeks later, the couple came arrived in Albuquerque to celebrate their new union with their New Mexico friends and family. Their reception took place at Sandia Lakes with yummy food from local food trucks, an incredible local band and lawn games to keep the guests having a good time. Both events were truly memorable and a special way to celebrate this magnificent couple. Congratulations you crazies! We love you and wish you all the best! XOXOXO
